Voteecal is a constituency-based public participation platform designed to help structure public issue management, grassroots political work, community coordination, and civic participation.

By accessing or using Voteecal, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

1. About the Platform

Voteecal is an independent technology platform intended to support:

  • Community-based participation
  • Public issue coordination
  • Grassroots political/social work documentation
  • Constituency-level engagement

Voteecal is not affiliated with:

  • Any political party
  • Any State or Central Government organization
  • The Election Commission of India

Voteecal does not function as:

  • A government grievance portal
  • A political consultancy service
  • An election campaign management agency

2. Eligibility & Verification

To use Voteecal:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must comply with applicable Indian laws
  • You must provide accurate information during registration

Users may access limited features in non-verified mode.

Certain platform features may require identity verification through EPIC/Voter ID-based verification systems. Before initiating the verification process, users may be required to provide explicit consent for identity verification and constituency mapping purposes.

During verification:

  • Users may provide details such as name, EPIC/Voter ID number, and constituency-related information.
  • Verification requests may be securely processed through authorized third-party verification providers.
  • Limited voter-related information may be used to confirm identity authenticity and constituency mapping accuracy.

Voteecal uses only the minimum necessary information required for verification and constituency-based participation purposes. Sensitive verification information is not publicly displayed and is not intended to be used for unrelated commercial or profiling purposes.

Providing false, misleading, impersonated, or forged information may result in:

  • Account restriction
  • Suspension
  • Permanent removal from the platform

3. User Types & Participation

Voteecal may support different categories of users including:

  • Citizens
  • Political/Social Workers
  • Community Participants
  • Organizational Users

Platform roles, permissions, and access levels may vary depending on user type and verification status. Voteecal reserves the right to modify participation structures, access rules, or feature eligibility at any time.

4. Community System

Verified political/social workers may create and manage communities within their constituency. Community owners may:

  • Invite or approve members
  • Coordinate local participation
  • Raise public issues
  • Share updates and activities

Community participation is intended for constructive public engagement and issue coordination. Voteecal reserves the right to moderate or restrict communities involved in:

  • Harmful activity
  • Coordinated abuse
  • Spam
  • Misinformation
  • Illegal conduct

5. Issue Participation & Public Content

Users may participate in public issues through:

  • Issue validation
  • Comments and discussions
  • Context addition
  • Public engagement activities

Political/social workers may:

  • Raise issues directly
  • Coordinate issue-related activity
  • Share updates regarding public work

Voteecal does not intentionally or manually promote political issues, updates, or content in the platform feed based on political preference, ideology, or individual affiliation. Issues and updates may appear in the platform feed based on platform activity and participation signals, which may include:

  • User engagement
  • Validations
  • Participation activity
  • Issue interactions
  • Community activity
  • Constituency-level relevance

The platform follows the same general system structure, participation logic, and visibility rules for all users, issues, and updates.

Voteecal does not guarantee:

  • Resolution of issues
  • Government action
  • Administrative response
  • Accuracy of all user-generated content

Users are individually responsible for the content they publish.

6. Platform Feed & Visibility

Voteecal does not intentionally, manually, or politically promote issues, updates, communities, or user content within the platform feed based on political preference, ideology, affiliation, or individual identity. Visibility of issues and updates within the platform may depend on various platform activity and participation signals, which may include:

  • User engagement
  • Validations
  • Participation activity
  • Issue interactions
  • Community activity
  • Constituency-level relevance
  • Recency and continuity of activity

The platform generally follows the same system structure, participation logic, and visibility principles for all users, issues, and updates.

Voteecal reserves the right to:

  • Moderate harmful or unlawful content
  • Reduce visibility of spam or manipulative activity
  • Restrict abusive engagement behavior
  • Apply safety, moderation, and operational controls where necessary for platform integrity

Voteecal does not guarantee visibility, reach, engagement levels, or public response for any issue, update, or user activity published on the platform.

7. AI-Assisted Features

Voteecal may use AI-assisted tools to help users:

  • Convert voice-to-text
  • Structure content
  • Improve readability
  • Draft updates or issue descriptions
  • Organize user-generated information

These AI systems are assistive in nature only.

Voteecal does not use AI:

  • To influence political opinions
  • To manipulate public sentiment
  • To make political decisions on behalf of users

Users remain fully responsible for reviewing and publishing their own content. Voteecal does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated outputs.

8. User Responsibilities

By using Voteecal, users agree:

  • To provide accurate information
  • Not to impersonate others
  • Not to misuse the platform
  • Not to share unlawful, abusive, or misleading content
  • Not to use automated spam or malicious tools
  • Not to attempt unauthorized access to platform systems
  • Not to share harmful or private information of others without consent

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

9. Content Guidelines

Users must not post or distribute content that:

  • Promotes violence or illegal activity
  • Contains hate speech or targeted harassment
  • Spreads knowingly false or misleading information
  • Violates Indian laws or regulations
  • Contains sexually explicit or harmful material
  • Infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights
  • Includes malware, spam, or malicious links

Voteecal reserves the right to remove or restrict content that violates platform guidelines.

10. Moderation & Enforcement

Voteecal reserves the right to:

  • Review reported content
  • Remove harmful or unlawful content
  • Restrict account activity
  • Suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms

Moderation decisions are made to maintain:

  • Platform safety
  • Operational integrity
  • Community trust

Repeated violations may result in permanent suspension.

11. Data Collection & Privacy

By using Voteecal, you acknowledge that certain information may be collected and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. This may include:

12. Organizational & Analytical Services

Voteecal may provide:

These services may be offered to organizations, institutions, or research entities using aggregated or anonymized platform data. Voteecal does not intentionally expose sensitive personal identity information through such services.

13. Legal Disclosure & Compliance

Voteecal may disclose limited user information or platform data when required under applicable Indian laws, lawful government requests, court orders, or provisions under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related legal frameworks. Such disclosures may be made only to the extent reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Investigation purposes
  • Public safety
  • Fraud prevention
  • Protection of platform integrity and users

14. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the original content they create and publish on Voteecal. By posting content on the platform, users grant Voteecal a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Process
  • Distribute
  • Promote platform-related functionality involving such content

This license exists only for operating and improving the platform.

15. Third-Party Services

Voteecal may use third-party services for:

  • Cloud hosting

Voteecal is not responsible for:

  • External third-party services
  • External websites linked through the platform
  • Third-party privacy practices

16. Limitation of Liability

Voteecal is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous platform availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Accuracy of all content
  • Uninterrupted services

Voteecal shall not be liable for:

  • User-generated content
  • Political opinions expressed by users
  • Loss of data
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Actions taken based on platform content

Users participate on the platform at their own discretion and responsibility.

17. Account Termination

Users may request account deletion at any time.

Voteecal reserves the right to:

  • Suspend
  • Restrict
  • Remove accounts violating these Terms or applicable laws

Certain public interactions or archived system records may remain stored where operationally necessary or legally required.

18. Changes to Terms

Voteecal may update or modify these Terms & Conditions periodically. Users may be notified of significant changes through:

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Voteecal shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts located in Assam, India.
